Seminary class

The seminary program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a four-year religious education program for youth. Open for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and not, this program aims to help the youth build their faith in the Atonement of Christ and make righteous actions that will help them be qualified for the blessings of the gospel and the temple.
As students come to understand the doctrines and principles contained in the scriptures they are studying, their attitudes and behavior will improve, and they will be prepared to share truth with others.

Requirements to complete a course of study:

  • attend at least 75% of class sessions
  • read in the book of scriptures for the course of study at least 75% of the semester calendar days
  • complete a course learning assessment with at least 75%

Make up work for absences are also available, and should be completed in a timely manner

To qualify for seminary graduation, a student must complete eight (8) semesters of seminary and receive an ecclesiastical endorsement.
