My mission experience gave me a greater assurance that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. With this knowledge, I now face hardships with more hope and patience. I have also discovered a deep love for service—helping others brings me immense joy and peace. More than just personal growth, I’ve realized that a fulfilling life comes through serving others. Not only does it bless those we serve, but it also refines and strengthens our character, helping us become more like Christ.
Throughout my mission, I witnessed countless miracles as I shared the gospel, especially with those unfamiliar with its teachings. It still amazes me how people, despite their busy schedules or initial hesitation, would open their doors and hearts to our message. Time and again, I saw individuals with every reason to decline our invitation choose instead to listen, demonstrating the profound influence of Jesus Christ. These experiences strengthened my faith and deepened my testimony of the power of the gospel to transform lives.

Returning home, I was eager to continue serving. I now serve as a branch clerk and a seminary teacher in our branch. These callings have allowed me to continue living the missionary principles I learned and to feel the Spirit as strongly as I did in the mission field. I know that missionary work doesn’t end when we take off the name tag—there are always opportunities to serve, uplift, and share the gospel.

If you are thinking about serving a mission, I can assure you that the thought came from God. He is calling you to be part of this great work—to nourish others with the message of Jesus Christ and help them receive the restored gospel. Take that step of faith, and I promise that the Lord will guide and bless you in ways you never imagined.
